Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Gravesend
Salary: £150 per day

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a dedicated Maths Teacher with a passion for inspiring students to develop confidence in mathematics?

GSL Education are currently seeking committed and enthusiastic Maths Teachers.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons across key stages, supporting students according to the curriculum and syllabus, and helping them build strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will create a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to excel academically.

Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Support students according to the curriculum and syllabus
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress and attainment
• Prepare lesson plans, resources, and assessments
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Encourage students to develop confidence and enthusiasm for Mathematics
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school staff

Maths Teacher Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related subject
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics within schools is desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Passion for Mathematics education and student achievement
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
