Academics is recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Cover Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Brighton & Hove.

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting schools by delivering engaging lessons while class teachers undertake their Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Adapt quickly to different classes, year groups, and school environments.
• Provide feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress and learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• A flexible, confident, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners.
