About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and resilient Reintegration Worker to join a dedicated Alternative Provision in the Tiptree area from September 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who require additional support to re-engage with education and successfully transition back into mainstream settings.
You will play a key role in supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, working closely with staff, families, and external agencies to create successful reintegration pathways.
Key Responsibilities
· Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis to re-engage with learning
· Develop and implement personalised reintegration plans
· Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may be disengaged from education
· Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and pastoral teams
· Liaise with parents/carers and external professionals to ensure consistent support
· Monitor and track progress against reintegration targets
· Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
· Assist with transition planning back into mainstream education or onward provisions
We are looking for someone who:
· Has experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
· Is calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
· Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
· Is passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their potential
· Can demonstrate a proactive and flexible approach
· Has a background in education, youth work, social care, or similar (desirable)
