French Language Assistant to work in a secondary school

A successful and high-achieving secondary school in North East London is looking to appoint a

French Language Assistant to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is passionate about languages and wants to gain valuable experience working in a secondary school setting.

The French Language Assistant Role:

Working with small groups of students to improve their spoken and written French

Providing targeted support to GCSE students ahead of examinations

Building students' confidence with speaking, pronunciation and conversational French

Supporting teachers within a successful and well-established MFL department

Helping students make strong academic progress and develop a love of languages

18 hours per week, term time only

September 2026 start

The Successful French Language Assistant will:
