Temporary School Receptionist - Throckley

We're excited to be recruiting on behalf of our valued client for a Temporary School Receptionist based in Throckley. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming and vibrant school community, where your organisational skills will play a key role in supporting daily operations!

Position Overview:

• Role: Temporary School Receptionist
• Contract Type: Temporary ongoing with the potential to be made permanent
• Hourly Rate: 13 per hour paid weekly through OA
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Throckley
• Working Pattern: 37.5 hours / Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm / Friday 8am-3:30pm

A DBS and stringent compliance checks will be conducted before the role commences. If you already hold a DBS Check on the current Update Service, that's a plus!

Your Responsibilities:
As a School Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our educational environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
• Providing friendly and professional reception cover.
• Handling general administrative duties to support both staff and students.
• Effectively multi-tasking while prioritising tasks in a busy environment.
• Maintaining a confident and professional telephone manner.
• Utilising various systems, including Word and Excel, to manage information effectively.

Requirements:
To thrive in this role, we're looking for candidates who possess:

• Prior experience in a similar school environment or reception position
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to our school culture.
