Our client, a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Newham, Greater London , is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support for pupils with special educational needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers to support the planning and delivery of inclusive learning activities
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group support to reinforce key learning objectives
• Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence within the classroom
• Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment
• Maintain accurate records to support the monitoring of student progress
• Participate in staff meetings and relevant professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience supporting students with SEN
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting children with additional needs
• A flexible, proactive, and solution-focused approach
• Safeguarding training and a valid Enhanced DBS check
