Location: Tower Hamlets (near Whitechapel)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time | Long-term (with potential to continue into next academic year)

Pay: £90-£115 per day

A diverse and forward-thinking primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately.

This Learning Support Assistant role will involve working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs within a mainstream classroom setting. The school has a strong inclusion ethos and places high value on early intervention, consistency and building positive relationships with pupils.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to deliver targeted support that helps pupils stay engaged, access learning and make progress academically and socially.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support pupils in lessons across KS1 and KS2

Deliver targeted intervention sessions in small groups or 1:1

Help pupils develop confidence, independence and focus

Support behaviour regulation and positive learning routines

Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

Has experience working with children in a school or youth setting

Is proactive, patient and adaptable

Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff

Is confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum

Has a genuine passion for supporting children's development
