TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Telford that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEMH Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September, with a strong possibility of a permanent position for the right SEMH Teacher. The successful SEMH Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging core subject lessons, supporting pupils with SEMH needs and implementing strong behaviour management strategies to ensure positive outcomes across both primary and secondary age groups.

The successful SEMH Teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant UK teaching qualification
• Experience working as an SEMH Teacher or supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Experience teaching core subjects across primary and/or secondary settings
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• The ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
