Birmingham 500- 520 per day 2-Year Contract Hybrid Working ASAP Start
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next long-term contract?
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor for a 2-year contract on a major infrastructure project based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile scheme with an immediate start available.

As Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the commercial management of project packages, ensuring contracts are administered effectively while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and project stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience working under NEC contracts, while also possessing a solid understanding of other forms of contract.

• Commercial management of project packages from start to finish.
• Administration of NEC contracts, including compensation events and change management.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, accounts, valuations and final accounts.
• Cost forecasting, reporting and commercial risk management.
• Working closely with project delivery teams to maximise commercial performance.
• Contract administration using CEMAR.
• Ensuring contractual compliance across multiple work packages.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (essential).
• Working knowledge of multiple forms of contract.
• Previous experience managing subcontractor accounts.
• Experience using CEMAR.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work collaboratively within a fast-paced project environment.

• 500- 520 per day
• 2-year contract
• Hybrid working:
  • 4 days per week in the office for local candidates.
  • 3 days per week in the office for candidates lodging away from home.
• Major infrastructure project with a leading contractor.
