Vision for Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Blackpool, Lancashire to recruit a passionate Teacher of Art & Design. Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Art & Design for a long-term temporary position in Blackpool, Lancashire. The Teacher of Art & Design role will commence in September 2026 and continue until January 2027, working part-time Monday to Wednesday.

The school is a well-regarded secondary setting in Blackpool, Lancashire and was graded Good at its most recent Ofsted inspection, highlighting its commitment to high standards, strong leadership and positive outcomes for pupils.

As a Teacher of Art & Design in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will:

• Deliver engaging Art & Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire creativity and encourage students to achieve their full potential
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and wider school staff
• Contribute to the continued success of the Art department

To be considered for this Teacher of Art & Design role in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Art & Design in a secondary school setting
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
• Be able to provide relevant references and undertake an enhanced DBS check
