TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with nurseries across Leeds, helping support them with their recruitment needs. The nurseries care for children aged 5/6 months 5 years old, nurturing them as they reach new milestones and ensuring they give every child the best start in life. The nurseries have different rooms set up to cater for the different age groups, ensuring every child is safe and secure & is given opportunities to learn new skills.

TeacherActive are searching for passionate Nursery Assistants to fill a variety of roles within Wakefield. There are many opportunities available, including full-time, part-time and flexible day-to-day work. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working with children under the age of 5 within either an Early Years / Educational setting, and will be confident working with children of all ages. The successful Nursery Assistants will be passionate about helping young children learn new skills and ensuring they are given every opportunity to learn new skills and develop their confidence.

The successful Nursery Assistants will:

• Be confident working in different nurseries & in different rooms
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS & current Safeguarding policies
• Be able to work well as a team with others
