The Role

As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in languages such as French, Spanish, or German.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching MFL across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering engaging lessons in one or more languages (French, Spanish, or German)
• Supporting students with exam preparation and language proficiency
• Promoting cultural awareness and global understanding
• Planning differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
• Monitoring progress and providing clear feedback
• Working collaboratively within the languages department

Requirements

To be considered for this MFL Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge in at least one language (French, Spanish, or German)
• Confident classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for languages and student engagement
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
