Teaching Assistant

Location: Abbey Trust, Leeds and Halifax

Contract Type: Full-time & Part-time Opportunities available

Salary: £101 per day

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated higher-level teaching assistant to join Lightcliffe CE Primary School. Lightcliffe CE Primary School is part of Abbey Multi-Academy Trust, a family of schools that are dedicated to making a difference to the lives of all their learners.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ learning and development within a vibrant, caring school community. We are seeking both full-time and part-time Higher Level Teaching Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide classroom support to students across a range of subjects.

Lead in teaching students across a variety of subjects in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.

Support students with additional needs to access the curriculum.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

A commitment to helping every student achieve their potential

Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to complete one

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Experience working with young people in an educational setting

A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
