Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience and begin your teaching journey with confidence?

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic, motivated and passionate ECTs to work across a variety of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Southport and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day supply work, a long-term placement or your first permanent teaching role, we can help you find the opportunity that's right for you.

As an ECT, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and build experience across a range of school settings while making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

Your responsibilities may include:

Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential Managing classroom behaviour effectively and positively Assessing and monitoring pupil progress Contributing to the wider life of the school

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS before September 2026 A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners A positive, proactive and flexible attitude Strong communication and organisational skills A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning

No previous teaching experience is required beyond your training placements.
