Join Our Team as a Refuse and Recycling Collector!
Are you passionate about keeping your community clean and sustainable? Do you have a valid HGV Class 2 driving licence and a knack for teamwork? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client in the Waste Management industry as a Refuse and Recycling Collector!
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
What You'll Be Doing:
As a crucial member of our team, you'll carry out daily refuse and recycling collections while ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and safety. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating refuse collection vehicles and performing refuse loading as needed.
Utilising in-cab technology and mobile devices to enhance efficiency.
Completing relevant paperwork in real-time to keep accurate records.
Conducting daily inspections of machinery and vehicles before and after use.
Maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment and vehicles.
Building and nurturing excellent customer and client relations, especially with members of the public and other motor users. What You'll Need to Succeed:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
A Driver CPC qualification.
A willingness to assist refuse loaders while on your rounds, contributing to team success in meeting service level agreements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with the community effectively.
A self-motivated attitude and a readiness to undertake various tasks.
A clean driver's licence is desirable for all staff.
