MEICA Supervisor (Mechanical or Electrical Bias) – Water Industry

Contract Type: Contract

Rate: £375 - £400 per day

An established Tier 1 contractor operating within the UK water sector is looking to appoint an experienced MEICA Supervisor to oversee installation and commissioning activities across a range of water and wastewater treatment projects.

Applications are welcomed from candidates with either a Mechanical or Electrical bias who have a strong track record supervising MEICA works in live operational environments.

Responsibilities

* Supervise day-to-day MEICA installation activities on site.

* Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works.

* Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and quality checks.

* Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project programmes.

* Support commissioning and testing activities.

* Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.

* Liaise with project engineers, site managers, and client representatives.

* Maintain accurate site records and progress updates.

Requirements

* Demonstrable experience supervising MEICA works within the water industry.

* Mechanical or Electrical trade background.

* Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

* Experience managing subcontractors and multiple work fronts.

* SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.

* CSCS card and relevant industry certifications.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
