Typically, this person will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication activities within a busy marine and engineering environment. The successful candidates will work to engineering drawings and welding procedures, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Duties and responsibilities of the Welder (FCAW & Super Duplex):

Carry out FCAW welding on a range of marine and engineering components. - Weld Super Duplex materials to required specifications and quality standards. - Interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and technical documentation. - Complete weld preparations, fit-up, and finishing activities as required. - Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and ensure compliance with quality requirements. - Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with company procedures. - Work effectively as part of a team to meet production schedules and project deadlines.

Qualifications and requirements for the Welder (FCAW & Super Duplex):

Proven experience with FCAW welding processes. - Demonstrable experience welding Super Duplex materials. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications. - Relevant welding qualifications or coded welding certifications are advantageous. - Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within an engineering or marine environment. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
