Job Title: Early Years Childcare Worker

Location: Neath Port Talbot

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £14.25 - £14.80 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of Flying Start provisions, Cylch Meithrin settings and private day nurseries across Neath Port Talbot. These settings are committed to providing nurturing, inclusive environments where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning through play-based experiences.

We are looking for an Early Years Childcare Worker to support a variety of settings on both short-term and long-term assignments. The successful Early Years Childcare Worker will work with children in the early years age range, supporting learning and development in line with the Foundation Phase framework whilst ensuring children remain safe, engaged and well cared for throughout the day.

The successful Early Years Childcare Worker will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
• Experience working within Flying Start, Cylch Meithrin or nursery settings
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Phase curriculum
• A caring and nurturing approach to supporting children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and adaptable attitude
