Location: Gainsborough Area
Pay: 14.50 - 16.50 per day
Start Date: September 2026

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an experienced School Caretaker to support a lovely village Primary School. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards across a school site. The hours for this role are flexible, the standard hours are 7am until 2pm.

Duties Include
Daily site inspections
Minor maintenance and repair work
Monitoring contractors on site
Supporting site security procedures
Ensuring classrooms and communal areas are prepared for use

Requirements

Child Only DBS is essential for the role - DBS clearance or willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check

Previous experience within a school, facilities or maintenance environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to respond effectively to site issues
Good understanding of safeguarding and health and safety
