Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water Capital Projects

Freelance - £400-£500 per shift

Exeter / Hybrid Working (1-3 days from home)

Minimum 5 Year Framework

Due to a significant increase in secured workload, we're supporting a leading civil engineering contractor with several key freelance appointments.

Summary

We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering capital works across the South West Water infrastructure framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused QS looking for long-term freelance work on a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

* Full commercial management of multiple capital schemes.

* Cost forecasting, reporting and financial management.

* Procurement and management of subcontractors.

* NEC contract administration.

* Final account negotiation.

* Supporting operational teams to achieve commercial success.

Requirements

* Previous Quantity Surveying experience within the water or civil engineering sectors.

* Strong NEC contract knowledge.

* Excellent commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
