We're looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Bristol. If you're patient, positive, and passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning, this could be the perfect role for you.

What you'll be doing

Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties

Working 1:1 and in small groups to help pupils access learning and develop confidence

Assisting the class teacher with personalised learning activities

Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

Creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels understood and valued

Helping pupils develop social, communication, and independence skills

We'd love to hear from you if you:

✔ Have experience working with children or adults with SEND, care, support work, youth work, or education

✔ Are calm, patient, and resilient

✔ Have strong communication and relationship-building skills

✔ Are passionate about making a difference in children's lives

✔ Can adapt to the needs of individual pupils and situations
