HGV Driver

Hales Group are currently seeking HGV Drivers to join our client based in Great Yarmouth. We are looking for individuals to support operational demands during the busy summer period, assisting with service continuity, holiday cover, and increased workloads across local waste services.

Main Duties of HGV Driver Include:
  • Driving LGV Class 2 vehicles across Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas
  • Safely manoeuvring vehicles in residential areas and narrow streets
  • Supporting the service during peak seasonal demand
  • Covering annual leave across the wider team
  • Completing daily routes efficiently while adhering to all health & safety regulations to protect yourself, your team, and the public
To be considered for the role of HGV Driver:
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Digital Tachograph Card / Smart Card
  • LGV Class 2 (Category C Licence)
  • Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Physically and medically fit to carry out duties in line with licence requirements
  • Available for an immediate start
Working Hours & Pattern:
  • Tuesday to Friday
  • 6:00am starts
  • 42.5 hours per week
LOCATION: Great Yarmouth
PAY: £14.96 per hour
DURATION: Temporary ongoing work during peak operational demands
