Are you a passionate, adaptable and inspiring HLTA looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact across a primary school?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a full-time maternity cover contract from January 2027 until the end of the academic year.

This varied and rewarding role will include:

• Delivering high-quality PPA cover across Reception to Year 5
• Leading engaging and creative Forest School sessions multiple days each week
• Supporting teaching and learning across a range of year groups
• Inspiring children to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning

What we're looking for:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
• Experience working across different primary age groups (desirable)
• Forest School qualification and experience (highly desirable)
• A flexible, proactive and nurturing approach to supporting children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
