Overview
Are you a seasoned Integrations expert and looking for a strategic and impactful role? Have you a passion for driving change and continuous improvement. Join us at the organisation as we embark on a transformative journey to implement a new group-wide ERP application to underpin our Business Transformation initiatives.
We are seeking a Lead Integration Engineer to architect, build, and manage integrations across our ERP and AEC applications. This role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless data flow, process automation, and system interoperability using iPaaS platform and other integration tools.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in enterprise systems integration, experience with ERP implementations, and the ability to work across diverse domains such as Finance, HR, CRM and AEC Applications.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions across our Enterprise applications including ERP & AEC systems
Manage and optimise integrations using iPaaS platforms e.g (integration-platform tooling, integration-platform tooling, integration-platform tooling)
Collaborate with business analysts, enterprise architects, and application owners to understand integration needs and define scalable solutions
Design, build and configure recipes using iPaaS for automation, transformation and orchestration
Design reusable and modular integration components to support multiple use cases
Support upgrade projects by ensuring robust system integrations
Coordinate integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Ensure integration security, data privacy, and compliance with IT and data governance standards
Develop and maintain integration strategy documents, architecture blueprints, standards, and reusable patterns
Define best practices for integration design, error handling, monitoring, version control and support procedures
Design and implement data pipelines and services that integrate operational systems with an Unified Data Layer (UDL)
Excellent analytical, communication, with ability to work across business and technical teams
Stay current on iPaaS advancements, ERP integration best practices, and emerging technologies
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, with at least 2+ years using e.g (integration-platform tooling, integration-platform tooling, integration-platform tooling) including certifications or formal training
Proven track record in ERP implementation and integration projects (e.g., SF, enterprise resource planning platform)
Experience integrating systems across Finance, HR, CRM, and AEC Apps. (e.g. engineering design software, engineering design software & simulation tools)
Experience working with data lakehouses, cloud-based data platforms (e.g., cloud data platform, cloud data platform), or enterprise data hubs
Knowledge of data governance, master data management (MDM), and data quality frameworks
Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP), data formats (JSON, XML), and ETL/data transformation
Hands-on scripting experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for custom integrations or API extensions
Familiarity with API gateways, identity management (OAuth2, SAML), and secure data transmission
Solid grasp of enterprise architecture, system interoperability, and data flow management
Experience in Agile or hybrid development environments
Experience with integration testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Familiarity with CI/CD and version control tools (e.g., version-control tooling, source-control and CI/CD tooling)
