Maths Teacher

Remedy Education are looking for a confident and motivated Maths Teacher to join a school based in Islington.

This is a great opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and helping students build confidence in Mathematics. The school are looking for someone who can plan and deliver high-quality lessons, manage behaviour effectively, and contribute positively to the Maths department.

Position: Maths Teacher

Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time

Start Date: ASAP

The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across the curriculum

* Support pupils of different abilities to make strong progress

* Use assessment to monitor attainment and close learning gaps

* Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment

* Manage behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations

* Work closely with the Maths department and wider school team

* Support pupils' confidence, independence and understanding in Mathematics

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Experience teaching Maths in a school setting

* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills

* QTS or relevant teaching experience

* The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

* A positive, professional and reliable approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
