Year 2 Teacher - Part-Time (Mon-Wed) | Walton-on-Thames

TimePlan Education are working with a friendly and well-regarded primary school in Walton-on-Thames for a committed Year 2 Teacher for a part-time position (Monday to Wednesday).

Key responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 2 class across three days per week

Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching where required

Support pupils' personal development and wellbeing

Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom managementRequirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1

Strong understanding of phonics and early learning strategies

Ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment

Good knowledge of SEND and inclusive teaching practices
