Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to work in a friendly, busy school environment in Hull. The role is a part-time Monday to Friday, offering a total of 20 hours per week at a competitive rate of 13.04 per hour.

As a School Cleaner, your duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, and communal areas

• Emptying bins and removing waste

• Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.)

• Mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping floors

• Disinfecting high-touch areas such as door handles, desks, and handrails

• Reporting any maintenance or hygiene concerns to site management

• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard in line with health and safety regulations

• Previous cleaning experience (preferably in a school or commercial environment)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to undergo a DBS check)

• Punctual, reliable, and takes pride in maintaining a clean environment

• Competitive hourly rate of 13.04
