Catering Assistants Needed - Manchester

12.71 per hour Flexible Hours Weekly Pay

Are you an experienced Catering Assistant or Kitchen Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle? We have excellent opportunities available across hospitals, schools, contract catering sites, and hotels and more throughout Greater Manchester.

Join our team and help deliver excellent food service while supporting busy kitchen and catering operations in a variety of rewarding environments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 12 months' experience working as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Assistant, Food Service Assistant, or in a similar catering environment
• Reliable, committed, and professional individuals - this is essential due to the nature of clients you will be catering for
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Have Food Allergen and Food Safety certificates (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Serving food to customers, patients, staff, or guests
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in kitchen and catering areas
• Washing dishes, utensils, and catering equipment as required
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures
• Supporting chefs, cooks, and catering teams during service
• Assisting with stock replenishment and general kitchen duties
