Edge Staffing is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Workington, Cumbria.

This is an initial 1-month assignment working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The role involves

• Driving a 12-tonne vehicle
• Delivering linen to customer locations,
• Handling and moving linen cages and bags.
• You will also be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries
• Carrying out vehicle checks
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time while providing excellent customer service.

Applicants must hold

• Valid HGV licences suitable for a 12-tonne vehicle
• Driver CPC qualification,
• Digital Tachograph Card.

Due to the nature of the work, this is a physically demanding role and applicants should be comfortable with regular manual handling duties involving linen cages and bags throughout the working day.
