Location: Warrington

Shift Pattern: 3 Days On / 3 Days Off

Hours:

• Days: 07:00 - 19:00
• Nights: 19:00 - 07:00

Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: £13.23 per hour
• Night Shift: £15.75 per hour

Contract: Ongoing with genuine Temporary to Permanent opportunities

AM2PM Recruitment is currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join one of the UK's leading retail distribution operations, supporting a nationally recognised discount retailer that continues to grow year after year.

Working within a modern, fast-paced distribution centre, you'll play a vital role in ensuring products are delivered efficiently to stores across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful operation with long-term career prospects and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring products are received, processed and dispatched safely, accurately and efficiently.

Duties will include:

• Picking stock using voice-directed headset systems
• Loading and unloading trailers and vehicles
• Goods In and Goods Out activities
• Operating warehouse equipment and MHE safely (where authorised)
• Completing stock and inventory checks
• Maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
• Working as part of a team to achieve operational targets

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience within picking, loading and unloading operations
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and excellent time keeping
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and understanding of written and spoken English
• The ability to undertake manual handling duties and heavy lifting where required

Desirable Skills

• Experience operating MHE or warehouse equipment
• FLT licences or previous FLT experience
