Job Description - collaboration and content-management platform & Power Platform Engineer
The organisation is an engineering role working on implementing changes to collaboration and content-management platform and Power Platform services. The individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that enhance productivity and collaboration across the organisation.
The client works in the Public Sector / Government
The role is key in ensuring that collaboration and content-management platform and Power Platform services allow teams to access information easily and efficiently, leverage workflows and orchestration via PowerApps, and uncover insights through business intelligence tooling. Familiarity with Microsoft CoPilot is also desirable for contributing to related initiatives.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Deliver change initiatives within collaboration and content-management platform and Power Platform services.
Ensure implementation/support documentation is created for changes to transition into the live environment in line with governance.
Manage collaboration and content-management platform Online environments, including site collections, permissions, and content.
Create and customize collaboration and content-management platform templates and workflows to automate routine tasks.
Implement and optimise search functionality for improved user experience.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Sharegate and business intelligence tooling.
Integrate collaboration and content-management platform with other enterprise applications.
Document development processes, user guides, and best practices for Power Platform applications and collaboration and content-management platform.
Support incident/problem resolution related to collaboration and content-management platform and Power Platform services.
Design, develop, and deploy applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and business intelligence tooling to improve operational efficiency and data insights.
Create custom connectors and integrate Power Apps with various data sources, including collaboration and content-management platform, SQL Server, and third-party services.
Optimise existing Power Apps solutions for performance and usability.
Develop business intelligence tooling dashboards for data visualization and actionable insights.
Attend Change Advisory Boards for delivery, quality assurance, and constructive challenge.
Profile
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Essential:
Proven experience deploying and managing collaboration and content-management platform and Power Platform services in public cloud platform.
Strong understanding of data integration and workflow automation.
Expertise in developing Power Apps solutions, including custom connectors and intuitive interfaces.
Proficiency in business intelligence tooling, including dashboard/report creation and data modelling.
Solid knowledge of collaboration and content-management platform administration and best practices.
Experience with Sharegate or equivalent tools.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to collaboration and content-management platform and Power Platform.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Microsoft 365 certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate) or equivalent experience.
Desirable:
Advanced collaboration and content-management platform administration and architecture design skills.
Experience with.NET, C#, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with external sharing technologies such as BOX, ZScaler, or identity and access management platform.
Experience with data security tools like Microsoft Purview.
Knowledge or experience with Microsoft CoPilot.
This role is a 2 year FTC and is offering £84,000 per annum plus benefits.
This role is working within the Public Sector and is seeking someone to join this exciting project.
This will be a two - three stage process.
1 day is required on site in Central London
