The organisation is building something incredible lying at the intersection of compilers and Big Data with the mission of disrupting the landscape of data processing infrastructure.
We are developing a next-generation universal compute platform to seamlessly connect accelerator hardware to customers' data infrastructure and we need skilled engineers to help us deliver our first product to be announced later this year.
The ideal candidate is a passionate Scala Software Engineer whose commitment is proportional to the excitement of solving challenging problems.
Desirable skills
Experience in developing large scale software with Scala
Experience with the internals of columnar storage (e.g. Parquet, ORC)
Experience with the internals of data processing frameworks (e.g. data and machine-learning framework, Apache Arrow)
Solving challenging problems in the context of distributed and high-performance computing
Experience with C++ desirable but not required
Ability to quickly navigate through the requirements of a fast paced startup
