Required: ** Contract Site Mechanical Fitters **

Process Plant Work

Location: Stockport / Tameside / Greater Manchester

Job Type: contract – Initial 3 months (on-going)

Site-Based

Outside IR35 – Limited Co. / CIS / PAYE Umbrella

Shifts: 10 hours Monday to Friday (+ OT Sat & Sun)

Gross rate: £26.00p/h (£29.00p/h sat & £32p/h Sundays)

We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team working on process plant & machinery installation projects. These are contractor / temporary positions offering consistent work on our client’s customer site.

Job Duties & responsibilities:

* Assembling and fitting process plant and food machinery equipment

* Installation on site at customer process manufacturing plant

* Must be able to work from engineering drawings

* Fabricating would be highly beneficial

Skills & Person Specification:

* Proven experience in mechanical fitting & installation

* C&G Time served or NVQ L3 – Mechanical fitting or similar

* Strong site installation experience

* Ability to interpret technical drawings

* Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player

* CSCS card and driving licence preferred (site work required)
