Week 1 - 8AM - 4:30PM
Week 2 - 10:30AM - 7PM
£13.18 Per Hour

Job Summary

My client is seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks, managing warehouse activities, and ensuring the efficient handling of materials.

Duties

• Follow procedures within the warehouse to ensure efficiency and safety
• Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report defects
• Load and unload vehicles
• Move, stack and store products in designated warehouse locations
• Accurately pick and place orders in the designated delivery locations
• Assist in daily stock audits
• Maintain a flexible approach to work
• Carry out general warehouse duties when required

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklift trucks (valid certification preferred)
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs on equipment
• Experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, and stock organisation
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail
• Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and recording data accurately
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
• Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
