Job Description

Our client, a leading company is currently seeking a Data Privacy Manager on a contractual basis. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to support and lead critical data privacy initiatives within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Support delivery of a GDPR and data privacy uplift programme

Lead and contribute to DPIAs, data risk assessments, and remediation actions

Manage and support SARs / DSARs and associated workflows

Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)

Support privacy incident and breach management where required

Work closely with legal, IT, security, and operational stakeholders

Ensure practical application of UK GDPR and ICO guidance

Contribute to policies, procedures, and privacy-by-design approaches

Job Requirements:

Essential:

Proven hands-on data privacy / data protection experience

Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR

Experience supporting privacy uplift or compliance programmes

Comfortable operating in contract / interim environments

Able to work independently with minimal onboarding

Confident, business-facing communicator

Highly Desirable:

Experience in regulated, healthcare, retail, or large complex organisations

Use of privacy tooling (e.g. OneTrust or similar)
