Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting a Forklift Driver to join our customer, a family-run manufacturing business based near Wainfleet All Saints on a fixed-term contract running from July to December.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for consistent, full-time work within a friendly and fast-paced environment. Working as part of the warehouse and production team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of stock, materials and finished products throughout the site.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 07:00 – 19:00

What Will I Be Paid?

£13.61 per hour 

What Will I Be Doing as a Forklift Driver?

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading deliveries

Moving raw materials and finished goods throughout the site

Supplying production areas with materials as required

Preparing products for dispatch and palletising stock

Assisting with stock movements and warehouse organisation

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Following all health and safety procedures at all times 

What Skills and Experience Do I Need?

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence

Previous experience operating a forklift truck in a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment

Good awareness of health and safety practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Own transport is essential due to the location of the site and lack of public transport links 

Ideal For Candidates Based In

Wainfleet, Skegness, Boston, Spilsby, Burgh le Marsh, Alford and surrounding areas.
