Gold Card Electricians & Electrical Improvers – Heathrow Airport

40 Positions Available – Major Long-Term Airport Project

Location: Heathrow Airport

Start Date: Immediate starts available following airside clearance

Duration: 12+ months

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday nights

Hours: 10–12 hour shifts

Employment Type: PAYE only

Rates: £25.00–£35.00 per hour depending on position and experience

Overtime: Enhanced rates after 37.5 hours and weekends

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting experienced Gold Card Electricians and Electrical Improvers for a major long-term electrical installation project at Heathrow Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile airport infrastructure project offering consistent work for over 12 months on baggage handling and conveyor systems within a specialist environment.

Immediate starts are available once airside passes have been secured.

Key Responsibilities

* Read and work from E-drawings, electrical schematics and installation drawings.

* Carry out electrical installation, wiring, panel wiring and termination works.

* Install and modify electrical systems associated with baggage handling and conveyor systems.

* Support testing, commissioning and fault-finding activities where required.

* Maintain high standards of health and safety within a live airport environment.

Essential Requirements – Gold Card Electricians

* Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card.

* Ability to wire and terminate control panels.

* Strong electrical installation experience.

* Ability to work independently from drawings and schematics.

Essential Requirements – Electrical Improvers

* Valid ECS Card.

* Experience assisting with or carrying out terminations.

* Strong wiring and panel work experience.

* Ability to work from drawings and follow installation instructions.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

* Previous experience working on baggage handling systems or conveyor systems.

* Airport, industrial or infrastructure project experience.

* Control panel and automation system experience.

* IPAF qualification.

* PASMA qualification.

* Experience within mission-critical or highly regulated environments.

Additional Requirements

* Applicants must live within approximately one hour of Heathrow Airport.

* Candidates may be required to complete security clearance, employment history checks and drug & alcohol screening.

* Previous baggage handling or conveyor system experience is highly desirable.

Pay & Overtime
