Mechanical Project Manager

West London | 12-Month Contract | Up to £400 per day

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor delivering a major commercial project in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Mechanical PM to secure a long-term freelance contract on a high-profile development, working with one of the UK's most established building services contractors.

The Role:

Managing the mechanical package from installation through to commissioning and handover.

Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour on site.

Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.

Attending client and main contractor meetings.

Managing procurement schedules and material deliveries.

Overseeing quality assurance, commissioning activities, and final snagging works.

Producing regular progress reports and programme updates.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on commercial construction projects.

Previous experience working for an M&E contractor is essential.

Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services installations.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

SMSTS and CSCS certification required.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
