Job Title: General Operative / Labourer (Back Shift)

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Operatives / Labourer to support ongoing construction and infrastructure works on a major project at Devonport Docks.

This position is working a back shift pattern from 5:00pm to 3:00am.

Key Responsibilities

* Assisting site teams with general labouring and operational duties.

* Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site.

* Maintaining clean and safe working areas.

* Supporting skilled trades and supervisors as required.

* Assisting with site setup, welfare maintenance, and housekeeping duties.

* Following site health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

* Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.

* Carrying out other general site duties as instructed.

Requirements

* Valid CSCS Card.

* Previous experience working on construction, civils, infrastructure, industrial, or dockyard projects.

* Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.

* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

* Reliable, punctual, and willing to work back shift hours.

* Job Type: Full-Time

* Contract: Ongoing

* Pay: £17.41/h PAYE

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of this project, all successful applicants will be required to undergo security clearance checks before commencing work. The clearance process can take up to four to 8 weeks to complete.
