FLT Counterbalance Driver - Warehouse Operative - Van Driver - Coalville

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, Leicestershire.

As part of your duties, you will also be required to conduct some warehouse duties and van driving.

This role would suit applicants who have worked in a previous role as an FLT Operator, a Forklift Truck Driver, or a Warehouse Operative.

The ideal candidate must hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence and a valid accredited Reach Truck Licence.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday • 09:00 - 17:00

Rates of Pay:

• £14.25 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Operating a FLT Counterbalance Truck safely and efficiently • Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting any faults • Receiving goods into the warehouse and storing pallets • Checking the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing goods • Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries • Organising stock for dispatch • Moving goods around the warehouse as required • Loading and unloading goods • Completing ad hoc van driving duties when required • Heavy lifting as part of daily tasks • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will need:

• A valid accredited Counterbalance Licence • Proven experience operating a Counterbalance Truck • Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task • Strong spatial awareness • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Good organisational skills • A reliable and self-motivated attitude • Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and comfortable undertaking heavy lifting • A valid UK Category B Driving Licence

Desirable Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience

Training:

• Industry-related training and ongoing support
