VAN DRIVER - NETHER HEYFORD, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Nether Heyford, Northamptonshire.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Courier Driver.

Shifts:

• Working 3-5 days between Monday and Saturday• Start times between 05:00 - 06:00

Rates of Pay:

£13.00 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

As a Van Driver, your day to day duties are:

• Multi-drop delivery of white goods (heavy lifting required)• Working as part of a two-person team• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured correctly• Adhering to UK traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be a Van Driver are:

• Valid UK Category B driving licence• Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles• No more than six penalty points for minor offences• Good knowledge of the UK road network• Good spoken and written English• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving commercial vehicles• Previous home delivery experience

Training:

• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
