Year 2 Class Teacher (Part-Time) Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 Start Date: September 2026 Part-Time, 2 Days Per Week (Thursday & Friday)

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity?

Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Sunbury-on-Thames seeking an exceptional Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team from September on a part-time basis, working Thursdays and Fridays.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a lovely Year 2 class within a nurturing school environment where pupils are eager to learn, staff work collaboratively, and wellbeing is a genuine priority.

• Teach a Year 2 class every Thursday and Friday
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Work collaboratively with the job-share teacher to ensure continuity and consistency
• Assess pupil progress and provide effective feedback
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Has a nurturing approach and high expectations for all pupils
