Trainee Warehouse Operative

Job Location: Bournemouth Airport

Job Type: minimum of a 12 month Contract

Salary: £13.05 per hour / £482.85 per week

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 7.30am– 4.00pm & Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm

We are working with a Bournemouth based E-Commerce distribution company who serves the retail industry. They are getting busier and looking to increase their staffing by 2 additional team members to work within their Warehouse.

Within this busy role you will be picking a large volume of orders on a daily basis ready to be packed and despatched on a daily basis.

This role is physically demanding as you will be on your feet all day, lifting, moving and sorting a large variety of items of size and weight ready for despatch.

You will be part of a small, hardworking and friendly team working in an excellent environment.

In this role you will be working at speed but maintaining accuracy to:

* Pick orders using pick sheets and hand-held scanners

* Pack items safely and securely

* Ensure orders are labelled correctly

* Put away stock that comes in

* Help with stock checks

The experience we require for these roles are:

* As this is an entry level role, so we are not looking for a lot of experience but instead if you have work within retail, a supermarket or had some experience within busy distribution warehouse, then this will be ok.

* Able to use computers

* Ability to work at a quick pace

* Quick learner

* Excellent attention to detail

* Ability to work confidently and efficiently in a team
