Exciting Opportunity: TLC Support Worker Opportunity

Join our specialist support worker team! Are you an experienced support worker or senior support worker? Have you got experience supporting Adults or young Adults in crisis? Are you passionate about supporting the most vulnerable Adults and young people in our community? Do you want to expand your experience and develop your career?

We are keen to speak to dedicated and passionate support workers who are committed to making a difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable Adults and young people in our communities. You will join specialist teams who deliver high level support, create safe environments and offer a deep understanding of difficult transitional periods and how this impacts on current behaviours and communication.

Pay Rates

£20 - £24 Per hour Umbrella

£40,000 + Per Annum

What can you expect from joining a specialist team:

An opportunity to dedicate your experience and skills to a Adults or young adults

Providing day to day support relating to activities, appointments, family contact and much more

Being busy engaging and encouraging the Adult or young person to take part in activities and form structure

Providing accurate reports and information to support the development of care plans and goals

Playing a critical role in the safety and wellbeing of the Adult or young adult

What you will bring:

Drivers licence and business insurance

Confidence to work with colleagues at times of heightened behaviours to de-escalate situations

Experience of using de-escalation techniques to keep adults and young people safe as well as yourself

Experience making decisions and taking action in challenging situations

An understanding of detailed and accurate daily record keeping, incident reporting

Demonstrate sound communication and judgement

Ability to follow care plans and implement and adapt these for new environments

Additional requirements - Emergency response unit

As this is an emergency response role we require you to be flexible on your availability due to the nature of these roles.

Packages can be across the country so we would need you to be a driver and able to commute to multiple locations

Skills and training

Active PVG membership holder

Registered with relevant regulatory body

PMVA trained - ideally or willing to undertake training
