LGV 1 (CE) Tramper Driver

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: 17.00 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Ongoing (Potential Temp-to-Perm)

Pertemps Banbury is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (CE) Tramper Driver on behalf of our Banbury-based client.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing work, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role

This is a tramping role, spending up to one week away at a time. You will be:

Collecting trailers from the dockyards in Portsmouth or Dover
Delivering general haulage across the UK
Covering routes from the South of England through to Liverpool and Leeds
Providing a professional and reliable service while ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A minimum of 2 years' Class 1 (Category CE) driving experience within the UK
A valid UK Category CE driving licence
A valid Driver CPC qualification
A valid Digital Tachograph (Digicard)
No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences only
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent knowledge of UK driving regulations
