SEND Teaching Assistant Primary Schools (Sheffield)

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity supporting children with additional needs?

The Supply Register is working in partnership with the L.E.A.D Academy Trust to recruit dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants across primary schools in Sheffield, including:

• Birley Primary Academy
• Birley Spa Primary Academy
• Rainbow Forge Primary Academy
• Charnock Hall Primary Academy

We are looking for passionate and experienced individuals who can support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

This role may include:
• Supporting children with SEND and additional learning needs
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting pupils with their emotional, social, and academic development
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Working alongside teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment

We re looking for candidates who:
• Have previous experience working with children with additional needs
• Understand SEND strategies and support approaches
• Are patient, resilient, and compassionate
• Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Can build positive relationships with pupils
• Are committed to making a difference in children s lives
