Join a leading global confectionery and snacks business as an Interim Legal Counsel, providing vital support to the UK & Ireland Legal team during an internal transition period.

The Role
As part of your role, you will report to the Head of Legal (UK & Ireland) and collaborate closely with commercial, procurement, and marketing teams to deliver pragmatic, business-focused legal guidance.

About You
• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales).
• Previous in-house experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or retail.
• Expertise in commercial contracts and marketing law.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, managing multiple priorities efficiently.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and possessing strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities
• Advise Marketing and Brand teams on campaigns, promotions, and advertising materials, ensuring adherence to CAP/ASA codes, consumer protection laws, and internal policies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including supply, procurement, and R&D agreements.
• Assist the Sales team with customer agreements, providing insights on competition law and facilitating compliance training.
• Work alongside global and regional stakeholders to evaluate and manage legal and operational risks across the organisation.
