Concrete Finisher (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.

PAYE basis

Competitive rate depending on experience/qualifications

Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

Must Have:

* CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card

* Level 2 NVQ Construction & Civil Engineering Operations (Concrete, Groundworks) or

* Level 2 NVQ in Construction Operations – General Construction

* Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher on major construction or infrastructure projects

* Experience with concrete finishing, levelling and surface treatments

* Ability to work from drawings and specifications

* Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures

* Reliable and proactive approach to work

* Ability to work safely within a live construction environment

* Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance

* Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out all aspects of concrete finishing to a high standard

* Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools

* Ensure work is completed to specification and quality requirements

* Assist with placing, levelling and curing concrete

* Work alongside site engineers and supervisors to achieve programme targets

* Maintain a clean and safe working area

* Follow all Health & Safety procedures and project requirements

* Support the successful delivery of major infrastructure works
