Salary: £95 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic SEND school based in Chelmsford, supporting children and young people aged 3 to 19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop independence, confidence and life skills through a personalised approach to learning.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a short-term basis starting in September. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with their educational, social and emotional development, adapting to individual learning needs while promoting a safe and positive learning environment.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly SLD

• A caring, patient and positive attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning

• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
