Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Mechanical Support Technician to assist on a short-term project. This position will involve supporting key installation and safety activities, including PVC piping, boltwork, and general compliance with site procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and fitting of PVC piping systems
• Carry out boltwork including assembly, tightening, and securing components
• Support adherence to site safety procedures and standards
• Work closely with engineers and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and to required specifications
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in mechanical fitting, piping, or assembly work
• Familiarity with boltwork and basic installation techniques
• Strong understanding or willingness to follow health & safety procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• CSCS card or relevant certification desirable (but not essential)
